Overview
PictonicoHub respects intellectual property rights. The site is an unofficial fan guide for Pictonico and may include commentary, guide text, factual references, links, screenshots, or user-facing notes about the game.
This page explains how rights holders can submit copyright concerns or takedown requests. It is not legal advice. If you are unsure about your rights or obligations, consult a qualified lawyer.
Non-Affiliation Notice
PictonicoHub is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or connected to Nintendo, Intelligent Systems, Apple, Google, or the official Pictonico team. Names, trademarks, logos, screenshots, store links, videos, and references belong to their respective rights holders.
PictonicoHub uses game-related references for guide, commentary, search, attribution, and fan-site context. Nothing on the site is intended to imply official ownership, partnership, or endorsement.
What Can Be Reported
You may contact PictonicoHub if you believe content on the site infringes your copyright or otherwise needs review. Examples include:
- A screenshot, image, video, or text excerpt used without proper authorization.
- A user-submitted screenshot or guide note that includes material you own.
- A page that misattributes a source or fails to credit a rights holder.
- A copied walkthrough, article, or guide text that you believe belongs to you.
How to Submit a Takedown Notice
Email takedown requests to dmca@pictonico.net. To help PictonicoHub review the request, include:
- Your full name and contact email.
- A description of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed.
- The exact PictonicoHub URL or URLs where the material appears.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement that the information in your notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury where applicable, that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act for the owner.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
Incomplete notices may take longer to process because PictonicoHub may need to ask for clarification.
Review and Response
After receiving a copyright notice, PictonicoHub may remove, disable, edit, or limit access to the reported material while reviewing the request. The site may also contact the submitter or affected contributor for clarification.
PictonicoHub aims to handle credible copyright concerns in good faith, but the exact response time can depend on the detail and accuracy of the notice.
Counter-Notice
If your content was removed and you believe the removal was a mistake, you may send a counter-notice to dmca@pictonico.net. Include:
- Your full name and contact email.
- The URL or description of the material that was removed or disabled.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed or disabled because of mistake or misidentification.
- A statement that you consent to the appropriate legal jurisdiction for the dispute, where applicable.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
Counter-notice rules can be legally significant. Consider getting legal advice before submitting one.
Repeat Infringement and Abuse
If PictonicoHub later enables community submissions, screenshots, comments, or guide corrections, users who repeatedly submit infringing material may lose submission access. PictonicoHub may also reject abusive, fraudulent, automated, or clearly bad-faith notices.
Fan Content and Fair Use Context
PictonicoHub may publish original commentary, guide structure, factual notes, links to official stores, and limited visual references to identify or discuss the game. Some uses may be protected by fair use, quotation, commentary, criticism, news reporting, or similar doctrines depending on jurisdiction.
Submitting a takedown notice does not automatically mean the reported material is unlawful. PictonicoHub may remove material, request clarification, add attribution, limit display, or decline action depending on the circumstances.
